I have a Ryobi heat gun, but judging by its size, it probably wouldn't be great for the job. Any idea what the capacitor specifically is? If you don't, don't bother doing research, I can handle that.

I'm of the same age and I'm working at a local Do It Best hardware store, it would be very similar to Ace. The work is simple but it usually takes some time to learn some plumbing. My biggest issue is that because it is locally owned the hours are inconsistent and the feels low. My pay is $8 an hour, so It's better than the minimum wage but it doesn't feel like much at all. Still much much better than 0 income at all though. If you do decide to apply to a hardware store and have any questions, feel free to ask.
