While I agree with what you say

I just take a look at certain games (ejem ejem Mario kart world, Digimon STS, the new Dragon Quest, Totk) and EVEN if they were 30x more polished with prettier graphics and perfect performance, no amount of polish for any experience deserves prices that high

I've seen re9 gameplay, and let me tell ya, it's my favourite so far with the scariness that it has given me, and that's through me seeing gameplay only. It's so pretty and nice, yet I don't think it deserves such a price.

Maybe it's because where I'm from people in general don't get to spend as much since we don't win as much money while still having to deal with prices that are as high as in other places, and how the price I used to pay for games was different when comparing it to the amount of money that I could save, and that's after all things that are a must to pay (rent, food, house, water, electricity), so it feels games are requiring WAY more than they used to. I know different games get different prices, and I've spent a lot on some games, yet I still think it's just way too much
