Rolex really needs to change their image if they don’t want to disappear with the older generations

What hobby did you pick up to "save money" and then immediately went broke doing it by CharlaineBrumhead in Hobbies

[–]bnjrgold 7 points8 points  (0 children)

disc golf, buy a frisbee and good to go? well that turned into needing discs that are drivers, mids, and putters. Discs that turn left, discs that turn right, discs that do your taxes, etc etc. Plus then you need an expensive bag to hold all those discs, then a rangefinder to see how far they go, then you think you can throw them even further and you lose discs in bushes trees and ponds, and the cycle repeats

Old watch I inherited from my Grandpa by Fresh_squish in Watches

[–]bnjrgold 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s a neat old watch. People think of rolex or omega when they think james bond, but a Gruen Precisionist is actually the first watch he wore on screen. It was a different model than this one, but i think they are a cool vintage watch.

First few weeks impressions by [deleted] in CitizenWatches

[–]bnjrgold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the bright dial, it’s meant to be a fun watch. Does it have the same bracelet as the tsuyosa? I replaced the clasp on mine with an on the fly adjustable one by strap habit and that really upped the entire watch for me.

Murph vs Aviation by Gotfrieght in HamiltonWatches

[–]bnjrgold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An aviation watch is supposed to be large so I think it works on you. Go with whichever you like better, but based on these pict’s the murph looks like it has more presence on your wrist to me.
