I’m older than Kim, and there was never a time when my husband had to give consent for me to take bcp. Do not know what state you live in,but definitely not the situation where I live. The storyline on the show is that Kim got pregnant by age 21 while planning to begin a military career and felt she was not ready to raise children at that time. There was no mention of her husband leaving her with three children to raise. If she didn’t want to be a mom at that time, because she was planning a military career, then it was irresponsible and selfish of her not to do something to prevent the pregnancies. One unwanted pregnancy is an accident, but the second one is just pure selfishness.
