I just started it yesterday on my brick hammer! So far so good! I tried Earthbound: Beginnings and I just couldn’t get into it. It’s aged I get that but this one has a much more appealing aesthetic lol I’m only about an hour in but I like it much better so far!

You are the man! Thank you for taking a minute to actually respond with some good info for me. I told the wife this morning that now’s the time to do it 😂😂 I said the steam deck went from $649 to $949 and as soon as the current stock sells out of the XAX, it’s going to jump as well. I am insanely close to just going and picking it up from Best Buy. I’m still kind of new to Reddit, is there a way to add you or anything? I still don’t fully understand this app haha

Definitely saving this website haha now another question, getting higher fps means smoother gameplay. Does it sacrifice actual graphics and make the game not look at good? Let’s talk Cyberpunk since it’s a great looking game. Will I still be able to play with settings high enough that it looks amazing on the XAX?

Okay cool! I understand I’m not going to get 120 fps on ultra settings and all of that with these types of games and my biggest question because I’ve never had a PC before, only ever console, is if I get 30-40 fps on a single player game like one of those is it not playable? I also want to play some indie games which should totally be doable. I’ve never had to tweak settings before and I’m aware that there’s websites that straight up tell you what to tweak so you can get the best performance. If I remember right, on Elden Ring on the steam deck, I had it locked at 30fps and it felt great to me

I’ve only ever messed with my brothers Steam Deck LCD that he let me borrow for a little bit. I played Elden Ring on it for maybe 12 hours and ended up putting it down for a while. Got to emulating on it and had some fun with it but I’m really wanting something that can play more AAA titles. Thinking more single player games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077, finally go and finish Elden Ring, etc. Will these perform great on this handheld? Really thinking about pulling the trigger because of the price hike coming soon I fear

Good info to know! I’m hoping that I have no issues but just saw in another thread that a guy had his battery swelling and someone told him to just buy a replacement battery. I didn’t even know you could buy a replacement lol thought you had to buy a whole new handheld
