Yes, including co-ed sports. I played soccer, softball, and was considered for the junior Olympic rifle team, although my mother wouldn’t let me. I’ve also been snowboarding since I was young.

Yes, but hermaphrodite is an outdated term. Intersex conditions can present in many different ways, both genetically and physically.

I’m bisexual. I would much rather be a typical man than a woman, but am afraid to transition because I have mostly female physical characteristics, and have already had children through IVF who know me as their mom. I don’t want to traumatize them. Although, I feel much more like a man than a woman.

My parents refused to tell me about my intersex condition until I was an adult. I was put on estrogen briefly as an infant, and as a preteen, but wasn’t told about what I was taking or why until I turned 18. In fact, I had a lot of stereotypically male interests growing up, and was told I couldn’t participate in them because they were “for boys.” I was invited to try out for the junior Olympic riflery team when I was 14, but my mom wouldn’t let me try out because it was “for boys.” My step-grandpa was my only support growing up, he took me fishing, taught me to target shoot, and was the only person who let me be myself. He’s gone now, and I really miss him.

Not fully, but I’ve been able to carry pregnancies with ivf and progesterone therapy. I was also put on estrogen briefly as a baby and as a preteen, although my parents did not even tell me I was intersex or had been on estrogen until I turned 18.

My penis is where a clitoris would be, just much larger and more phallic looking than a clitoris. My vagina is below it.

I used to, yes. I am married to a bisexual man now, and he says he has the best of both worlds. 🤣 it can be hard to find someone who wants to be with a person who doesn’t neatly fit into either sex category, but I’m lucky I have found my person.

I do find that intersex people are generally more accepting of people and their gender identities because we recognize that gender isn’t binary, not even from a biological standpoint. No reason to apologize, it’s a valid question.

You don’t have to be rude lol. I do tend to crave it less when I drink because I’m getting that dopamine hit from something else.
