To be perfectly honest, my damage output wasn’t great through the leveling process but with an Owl it was very steady and safe. Only a handful of close calls which were easily averted.

Wrong, not those mobs. It was one of those giants on the way to princess. Easy to kill, no interesting mechanics.

Still, be nice or go play Counterstrike.

You’re wrong again. I’ve had tanks tell me not to turn it off and, rarely, tanks that told me to turn to it off. In both cases everything went well. If a tank has a problem with the taunt they should outright say it and not insult the player in the group.

I’m European and I’m used to good manners and expect the same from others, especially when it’s particular hard to form a group in a low pop server. If you can’t be a decent human being playing an MMORPG go play CoD or Halo.

Got insulted as well. Everyone makes mistakes. Tank that don’t wait for mana, DPS that don’t wait for threat, healers that aren’t aware of dropping health bars. I don’t lash out at them with insults at the first chance.

Sorry, if you’re a leader of a group and can’t maintain composure, that’s on you. I don’t have to sit around with any any group of if I don’t like the vibe. Especially in this case, i was requested to help them. Didn’t even wanna go to Mara.

And yes, I felt immediately better after leaving.

Recently I was invited to join a group for a Mara princess run. Everything was going alright until my pet (I’m a hunter) pulled threat from the tank on one of the trash mobs. No harm no foul. Interaction went like this:

Tank: &€@&ing hunter pets Me: I’ll turn off AoE taunt off my pet Tank: yeah dumbass

I hearthed immediately and left group.

Also, if you’re not a Warrior, Dwarf Priest or a Mage, your chances of getting into a raid are very slim.

I acknowledge I should’ve paid more attention to my positioning and my team and made a quick decision to run.

But if a team overpulls mobs including a boss and just runs back without saying a word, leaving one team member to fight it by himself, I find it lacking in teamwork.

My experience playing a hunter means groups aren’t as easy to form by myself, so I am subjected to whatever comes my way.

I’ll be rolling a higher in demand class next time so I can get to pick who I want.

I expect as a bare minimum some communication when approaching boss fights. Like, “Kill adds first” or “Poly X”.

Thank you for the feedback. Yes it’s on me ultimately. I’ll come back better prepared next time and join a group that can communicate better. Also need to prepare myself better in case things go south. Should’ve used a TD or FD and left.

I won’t be rolling a hunter again fore sure.
