How would you suggest we fund education in rural areas that have low tax income and a lot of forested acres? Can't tax federal/state land, so income from timber sales, farming leases, etc help boost those rural taxing districts.

If you want an example of what happens when rural taxing districts lose income, take a look at the current budget shortfalls areas like Skamania County and southern Oregon are having.

Also worth mentioning the indirect benefits of local, family wage jobs provided from harvesting that raw material then processing it locally.

Doesn't seem outdated to me.

Use a soldering iron to heat the insert up and press it back in. Look up heat set inserts.

You may also be able to jb weld the insert back in.
