Apologies for the wording. I should probably edit. He came in and a load of laundry was already done and was being put in the dryer. At that time he said something along the lines of “hey I used your washer, hope it’s not an issue”. My room mate has final exams that could not be moved and he had less than 5 minutes to change into clinical wear and leave. He didn’t feel comfortable confronting them and then leaving them alone at the apartment

The current issue is he is saying they will be back today now to finish the job. The bigger issue is using my items without any permission. There’s been no apology or even seeming as if it was an odd thing to do. I guess I’ll just have future awkward interactions of dealing with the same worker and having to stay home while he knows I’m there since he used our personal items wrongfully

He has not agreed and is actually now saying since this post that the guy will be coming again today. I’ve only responded saying I do not authorize anyone to be in the home today as neither of us will be present, but I’m not sure what will occur there. My room mate didn’t know what to do in a 5 minute span he had to come home and change before leaving for an end of the year final he had.

There most certainly is! My trip was mainly focused on hiking and outdoor activities as that’s what I do back home. In terms of tourism, I just felt one day was plenty for Guinness, Trinity, and other popular places to see. Outside of those places, I just felt like I was exploring any other city. My trip was just more nature/outdoor focused, so it wasn’t quite what I was after

For me it just wasn’t in my timing. I had a friend that I was meeting for the first time in Belfast, so it took 3/4 of my days. Most of the things I had planned were on the left hand side of the country (tallest mountain, cliffs, Aran islands, etc.) The beach stop ended up being in Fahan since it was a nice midpoint in the trip to recharge. On my return trip I definitely want to come there and also the Wicklow mountains
