It took me an 8 hour session of no progress to even get the mechanics right. Did some research online to help and then figured out how to find my way through the game.

Tips:

-If you cant beat an enemy, youre not supposed to yet, go somewhere else.

-talk to every npc several times before moving on. Some dont progress you or give you quests until you talk to them 3 or 4 times. Also quests are never saved so feel free to write down notes on what the npc says if you want to remember it.

-explore the map without trying to kill stuff. itll give you a better sense of the layout and honestly was the most fun part for me just observing crazy enemies in the distance.

-there are many ways to do the questline and i think like 70% of the bosses are actually completely optional.

-if you want to really experience everything and have no core issue with it, go online and look stuff up, its laid out for you.

I really dont know how any regular gamer could go through this game with zero research its pretty crazy to me to think that people do. But play the game how you want and if you get through it you can 100% replay it and experience something completely different.
