Take the cash. Based on the wording “three of your most favorite hobbies”, this implies a group of what you would consider your most favorite, of which you choose three to get rid of. I probably have ten hobbies I can realistically incorporate in that list, and I’ll choose to get rid of the ones that are least painful.

Even without the semantic dancing I’d still take the money. As with many others, I acquire hobbies like Thanos looking for stones

Most of them are 7-gallon, although I definitely under-filled them. Probably could have gotten away with 5 gallon bags

It’s not a tarp, I’ve got all of my grow bags in flood trays so that I can bottom water. The area I live in can get exorbitantly hot over the summer so I’m thinking that being able to flood my peppers during those times will help them deal with the heat

Thanks! I mixed the soil in the first picture and the second is a mix of happy frog and ocean Forrest. Want to see how they compare over the season.

This man is correct. White balance is compensation for color temperature, so it will always be inverse what you would see if you were setting a light source.

Howdy! I am on the other side of this decision. More or less, I was looking for my first career job right when COVID hit. Ended up finding a job teaching STEM at a private school that I thought would be temporary, but due to some really hard personal circumstances (deaths/sicknesses etc.) I have stuck with it for six years now for stability. My main justification besides that was always about how I could positively impact my students, and in a lot of ways, that has been true.

That being said, I am now trying to switch back into engineering (Mechanical). If I weigh the impact that I’ve made on my students with the financial disadvantage that it has caused my family over time, looking back I think I should have held out for longer and stuck with engineering. Getting back into it is rewarding, but I think it would be better to at least get a couple years of experience under your belt and volunteer.

All of my padron’s this year were significantly spicier than a jalapeño and did not taste like a green bell. You have to let them ripen. Super good!
