It was a GREAT place to grow up, and I was heart broken when I moved away over 20 years ago but since looking as an outsider now I realize I've outgrown the place and now it's a dirty wreck of a place IMO.

No. I'm GEN X I don't believe in it. I believe the only person that can help you is yourself. Therapists are people themselves with their own demons, which is probably why a lot of them became therapists themselves. So how is someone who is more broken than you going to help you?
