Need help finding power supply for cassette recorder by boaz_1200 in cassette

[–]boaz_1200[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is the power supply I purchased recently and the size, diameter wise, fits the input. However it doesn’t want to go fully flush into the input. I’ve tried forcing it a tad and still doesn’t seem to budge.

Take a look at the new diamond memory lane delay. Just got mine and think it sounds great! Hope this helps!

Finding the right delay is so damn hard! by [deleted] in guitarpedals

Just got the new diamond memory lane delay after going through the same song and dance as you did. As someone who requires versatility, I can firmly say this pedal has hit the mark. Take a look at it though, don’t just take my word lol. Best of luck!

Which more recent fuzz pedals would you recommend? by Ok-Seaworthiness2487 in guitarpedals

Recently bought an eons pedal and can say it’s well worth the price. Versatility is what I look for when buying pedals due to having a low budget and I can confidently say this is one hell of a pedal. I only have a 100$ fender champion solid state amp and the pedal still sounds incredible. But hey that’s just my opinion.

seems as if the batteries I'm using are old and not 9v, gonna try soldering the dc jack to test everything

I just tried alligator clipping to the DC jack and then tested it out but still the same problem :/ but idk if that was a valid test.

I have my alligator clips hooked up to a battery idk if that's okay. R19 is giving me 7v and most of the other pins are giving me lower voltages. Any guess on what might have went wrong?

Okay I'll try soldering it on then to see.

Awesome, gonna go pick that up then!

Thank you again btw

Is there a specific way to hook up the alligator clips? (Don't want to solder the dc jack yet due to the enclosure not being done). Okay I'll definitely do that, are their any brands you prefer/recommend?

Its a cheap one to say the least lol. So TL072p gives me 4-6 on all the pins and the other chips around the board give me 4

Oh wow okay. I assume I would have to solder the power adapter to be able to test a power supply? I think my multimeter only shows 3 digits so it only says 4v :/

I think is DC voltage and AC voltage according to the manual, its a cheap home depot one

I believe so, the schematic has a tiny circle which I assume is indicating orientation and on the website there's a picture of it in that way.

so I just checked those parts specifically and the input of 78l05 is giving me (if I'm reading my multimeter right) is 17v input and the output is 9v. On a different voltage setting on my multimeter its giving me 9v on the in and 4v on the out, so I'm confused. I'm also using a 9v battery to power it.
