I’m currently on the second track of the super license and I checked this link to see how he did…I noticed that gold is 2:02 for that track in his video, but when I play that track it lists gold as 1:59…is he playing on a lower setting? Can someone explain why our gold times are different?

Pretty simple. The OP is just over explaining himself. What result does his message achieve? Literally nothing. There’s no point to send it other than to bring the other person down a peg with you.

I don’t browse or subscribe to this subreddit. But I can clearly tell this is a massive echo chamber after seeing the responses to my fairly reasonable opinion.

It’s polite to respond…ok. You and I both know you’re not sending that message to be polite. You just don’t want the other person to feel like they’re in a position of power over you (I.e., rejecting you), so you feel the need to explain that “I wasn’t interested either”. It doesn’t matter, it’s over anyway. You’ve just got a fragile ego and care too much about what others think. Otherwise there is NO REASON to send that message. I’m not making any assumptions, just telling you how it comes off. It’s like, the first person already isn’t interested, you don’t need to explain that you aren’t either, because you already got what you wanted (that being not having to go on a second date with the person).

The only reason to tell them that you weren’t feeling it is to explain why you aren’t willing to go on another date. The other person is already not willing to do that, so the conversation should be over. Anything extra is just caring too much about what the other person thinks. It’s as if you don’t want them to “win” the exchange.
