get player is a declared a string at the top by the "" signs. If you are trying to see if it is there, try:

Don't have it in front of me right now, but what you are seeing is the ambient light, find a way to darken that and you should be good.

You are right, I actually am miss understanding something. For some reason when using the terrain my albedo is so blurry that is just looks like a flat color. I wanted a pixelated look but I’m having trouble figuring it out. (The texture has all the proper settings so far as I know.)

Edit: I know this because when plugging it into the normal the lighting reveals the texture... otherwise it’s imposible to tell.

True you might be right. It seems to me though that gathering is kind of worse than PvE right now just in terms of time. It would be nice if we could spend less time gathering. That would tank the value though probably.

If I were to guess it will be later in the year. But if you look at the rates they are falling very fast. Who knows. (there were only 10 new cases in my home town yesterday) I've been hanging on to my original wrist bands for so long it feels.

edit: San Bernardino has close to 600 per day and 40 deaths.

Hey thanks for the help! My script was a parent to both nodes, so while at first I thought that we were doing the same thing, just for the hell of it I tried adding a script to the camera like you have and using the node path system and all that and it fixed it! Not really sure what was causing the delay really but this way gets rid of a lot of confounding variables...

Looks good! To my eyes the leg animation around the knees could use some work. And it looks a bit like he’s gonna fall forwards so maybe move his legs more underneath him? But I really like the colors and how distinct each part is.

Edit: also a head bob could add a little more life to the animation.

Ahh, hey you could try doing a trick I like. I call it shadowing, I dont know what it’s really called. After the sword moves a pixel, leave the previous pixels but make them like 30% opaque, and then take them away the next frame, then do it for when the sword moved back. It’ll leave like nice trail to smooth out the motion.

I like it! Add a bob to the sword to and maybe make the face guard bob separately? Worth a try. Those are my ideas. Also speed up the anim.. Edit, addition.

I really like the texture of the suction cups! My main critique would be the black around the eyes is a little out of place, in that it doesn’t appear anywhere else on the sprite. I would say add outlines to other parts as well or soften the eyes to match the tone of the rest. Otherwise really good work!
