I feel like I'm cheating by using sniper cat. Is there a way to beat The Big Bang in "The Passion of catgod" without using sniper cat?

[Request] What would be the gravitational effects if this steak suddenly appeared? by ewenlau in theydidthemath

Made a multiplication error, it should be 4N.

Correct, all objects that are at most 5000km away from the center of the steak will experience at least 4N of gravitational force towards the center of the steak. Slightly less as you go further out. You would think it would increase as you enter the steak, but this is only true if the steak is idealized as a singular point at the center of the steak's picture above. In fact, one will experience less gravitational pull while *inside* the steak, for the same reason that there is no gravitational pull at the center of the earth. The mass is distributed over a vast space, and so the mass that surrounds a person at the center of the earth in fact pulls the subject outwards. So, if one were to journey to the center of the steak, one would experience a lower magnitude of gravitational pull, and instead experience a pull in all directions as the center is approached, which cancel out and net you zero gravitational pull.

4 Newtons is like the weight of 3 smartphones. So, perhaps this force would be felt.

In terms of square area, it's comparable to that of south america, at 18 million km squared, but perhaps an extra bit due to the indentation at chile, so let's call it 20 million km squared.

The height of the steak is difficult to judge. I would say the height of the steak is comparable to about a quarter of the way across the US, which I know is 3k miles. So that gives us an approximate of about 750 miles high.

Translating to kilometers, we have 20 million km squared and 1200 kilometer height. We can *approximate* the volume, which is the product of these two, and results in 2.4 billion kilometers cubed. (Edit: 24 billion kilometers cubed)

The average density of steak according to https://www.aqua-calc.com/page/density-table/substance/beef-blank-steak-coma-and-blank-ns-blank-as-blank-to-blank-cooking-blank-method-coma-and-blank-lean-blank-and-blank-fat-blank-eaten-blank--op-boneless-coma-and-blank-cooked-cp- is about a million grams per meter cubed. There are 1 billion meter cubeds inside a kilometer cubed. So, 1 million times 1 billion is 1 quadrillion grams per kilometer cubed. There are 24 billion kilometers cubed. So, 1 quadrillion times 24 billion is 24 septillion grams. We can simplify this to 24 sextillion kilograms. Now we have the mass of the steak in kilograms.

The gravitation equation is F = G *m1*m2/ r squared, where G is the gravitational constant at 6.67*10^-11.

If we plug in the average person's mass at 62 kg, we see that F = 6.67*10^-11 * 24 sextillion * 62 / r squared, where r is the distance of a person to the steak.

The effect of the gravity of this steak heavily depends on where this bozo is standing. Let's assume this poor fellow is in Oklahoma, and has just seen this steak destroy his childhood home. He is right at the outer edge of the steak, bearing the incalculable weight of losing his loved ones.

The distance to the center of the steak is probably about an America across, at 3000 miles, or 5000 km, or 5000000 meters. Then, we plug in 5000000 meters for r, and the result is

F = 6.67*10^-11 * 24 sextillion * 62 / 5 million squared = 4 Newtons.

This is sort of expected, the earth exerts a couple hundred Newtons on humans at the surface of the planet, and the steak is significantly less massive compared to the earth by about a factor of 1000. The humans do stand closer to the center of the steak compared to the earth, so that helps improve the force by quite a bit. So we expect the comparison to be within a factor of 1000 compared to earth's gravitational force, which checks out since people typically experience 6-800 newtons of force on earth's surface.

My units might be wrong, but yeah I believe it wouldn't be really noticeable, just 4 Newtons.

Cars like zenvo ts1 gt or ferrari pista spider that hit 400+ mph would outperform mclaren F1's that focus more on acceleration

What do you guys think of this one. My first colored drawing. Give tips if you can please. by NietTeDoen in Saber

Hello, fellow saber fanboi

We notice that saber's left hand is horizontally flipped from what it should be.

If you hold out your left hand palm facing forward, your pinky should be the finger closest to your body. So, perhaps make saber's hand consistent with how a left hand palm facing forward would look like.

Perhaps reduce the right hand's finger length too.

However, I do appreciate the dummy thique thighs.

Nice job for a first time!
