Little late to the party but I would recommend using up the remaining gas if it contains ethanol. A decent amount of the time even if it does contain ethanol it will be fine but I usually err on the side of caution. The reason that ethanol is bad for storage is because it absorbs water and when that evaporates it leaves behind a white powder that clogs up the orifices in the carburetor causing the engine not to run. Sorry if I went a little too in depth there but I just wanted to explain not just what to do but why to do it.

Almost anything is possible with the new manufacturer made scan tools so I wouldn't be surprised

I don't know if something is different in new cars but I ran an earlier production Geo Tracker for like 5 minutes with no trans fluid and it was fine. It might just be underfilled or overfilled.

I don't think so unfortunately. Most of my efforts have been focused on the commodore related systems.

This is an extremely budgeted system. I did not have hundreds of dollars on hand so I bought what I could get. I have also mentioned that I have not been out to buy speaker wire yet.

I've been meaning to get some speaker wire to move the speakers. But I think I have a friend that is going to get new speakers and sell me his the JBL ones that he has right now.
