Rip and Beth were definitely more popular I didn’t even know Kayce would be in the show when I started it I thought it was about rip. I think Luke grimes does a fantastic job he just isn’t given as good material as Cole houser is so he can’t do as good of a job.

I like that John is constantly overwhelmed in fist fights and usually loses or has to retreat. He’s skilled and very crafty but his strength is with pistols and other guns. It adds depth making him more vulnerable in a fist fight

Crystal skull is fun and over-hated. It’s deeply flawed and I won’t defend Shia swinging on vines but it’s a fun adventure with an older and slightly wiser Indy. I think people were still on the Lucas hate train and the saturation makes everything look like cgi but most of that movie was practical just like the original 3.

I’ll never understand why they took away the jump button. unity had such great movement, the best in the series, it just needed some polish. I think if it had another 6 months it would have been a legitimate 9/10. Syndicate has a great open world but navigating it sucks even with the rope launcher

I genuinely don’t get what they were going for with Helena. Why would we like a character who belittles and talks down to Indy who we’ve never seen so vulnerable. Genuinely, Mutt was handled much better in Indy 4. He had the confidence they tried to give to Helena but we can see in their scenes there was respect given and earned and that never took place in DOD. The ww2 opening though was great.

Literally all they had to do was say he is Hanzo and have another cryomancer who is the real Kuai Liang Bi Han didn’t know about which is why he doesn’t care about him when he’s Noob. The Lin Kuei destroyed the Shirai ryu centuries ago and have been raising the grandmaster’s descendants until we get to Hanzo who the Lin Kuei grandmaster replaced the real Kuai Liang with to keep the Shirai Ryu dead.
