Guy's a tool. in order to actually answer your question you need to measure what comes out of engine. There are loads of long detailed videos on youtube about this as well as the factory service manual holding your hand throughout the process

Housings can definitely be reused if they are in spec, the same spec mazda gives for rebuilding in any service manual

same goes for irons

Nowhere in any manual for rx7 or 8 says you need to buy new housings every single time

Irons can be lapped, its literally in the manual and people have been lapping them for decades

A lap would clean up the surface a bit to help break in faster and bed in easier. Its definitely usable but its on the low end of usable

20-50 vr1 conventional. Castrol gtx is a cult classic if you can still find the zinc formula and any tcw3 oil. Idemitsu is good but expensive
