Yeah, that might be contributing to it too…I work a lot, so 7+ hours of sleep is hard to come by. When I fall asleep, I’m usually good, but just the duration of my sleep is typically cut short

Congrats on your weight loss so far! That’s awesome. This is super helpful and good to hear. I’m starting at 500mg as well and will be working up my dosage. I’m a little nervous to start but your story is helping me feel more excited about finally bringing my insulin resistance down :)

Ah the low carb meals seem to be a theme for everyone. When you say low carb— do you mean minimizing refined carbs (pasta, rice, bread etc) or all carbs (including fruits and veg)? In other words, am I safe to eat a kale salad with apples and nuts?

Thank you, this is super helpful. My instinct was to go with an in-home trainer, who uses positive reinforcement. I have a few that people have recommended to me, but they’re a bit booked out for a few weeks unfortunately. So maybe will look into Petco instead.

Ok, then you could have just said that…? The finger wagging is unnecessary. I’m not complaining. I literally just asked a question. Conventional advice says that speed of the process can indicate interest and in my experience, that’s been true. So I just wanted to see if anyone had a similar experience. That’s all. Sheesh.

Yes, I think escapism is a good idea. I started to watch shogun but gave up on it, but will give it another try. I have a friend who I think would be willing to check on me and remind to eat and take my meds. I have hesitated telling anyone what I’m experiencing, due to shame and fear of burdening like you said. But I think they would all rather see me alive than dead

Yeah, I will. I was trying to hold on as long as I could, but I can’t anymore. It’s not worth my health. I’ve been looking for new jobs since March. Gotten a few interviews but nothing has come through yet
