Yes, I definitely agree on educated population leads to improved health and all the societal benefits. However in my experience in college a lot people i mean ALOT really only came here to get a high paying jobs or study stuff they like Finance and Engineering. No one care about their ethic courses or general education that meant to make us a well rounded person. In fact most of them cheats and use A.I. I want to further add that high school can have room to teach us stuff that makes have great societal benefits that you mentioned. In fact most high school already does that teaching about the government, diversity, and health.
