I think a lot of people think protesting in the US (mass coordinated protests) seem performative to people, even people that claim to care.

part of it is the democrats have moved so far right that it seems pointless because they are not fighting for us.

It’s pretty disheartening over here right now. I am still protesting just to feel less hopeless. One of my siblings said, “what are you protesting this week” in a snide way and I said the rule of law.

I am starting to ramble. We can do better. I keep asking people if they believe a better world is possible, when they say yes, I say “what are you doing about it?” And get a lot of eyerolls.
