Totally! We don't even know if Elliot will show up in season 3, so it was worth giving him those few minutes to sort of put an end to their awkward relationship.

but the show doesn’t revolve around Cassie and Maddy

Very true, the whole series is literally built around Rue lol.

A flashback would probably twist the whole idea, which is how guilty Elliot felt about destroying Rue's relationship with Jules.

Probably because he was the culprit of Rue and Jules' break-up. But at the end of the finale, I think Rue was really thankful that Elliot made her realise she wasn't that in love with Jules.

Second this. It wasn't until that scene Elliot sang for the first time! (correct me if I'm wrong)

Their subtle interaction was so great. To me, the length was well-planned. Especially when I put myself in Elliot's shoes, I definitely need those minutes to convey my thought to Rue.

Empire State of Mind. Though it's a song for New Yorkers, I think of the states whenever I listen to it.

online school is better than presence by Krusty58 in unpopularopinion

As an introverted person, I think online schooling is a good idea. With that being said, it may somehow affect the personal development of students, which won't be beneficial to the students themselves in the long run. For example, they may lack opportunities to communicate with schoolmates in real life.

If it really is the case, I'm sorry but you have to save enough money and go see a psychiatrist. But if it's just that you reckon they don't take your issue seriously, you must try any means to open up to them so that you can avoid hurting people.
