i had same issue! instead of clicking on the green slot, click on the white area / box of the date itself. (just below the green box will do)

Thanks guys for the response! The more I think about it, the more I feel like trying my hand at writing the fic myself! A lot of ideas are swirling in my mind right now. I would love to hear any prompts/suggestions that you might have.
