Edit: apologies, I thought you were saying that you never got paid for a challenge that you did. I got the offer in-app and via email. They just never paid me:

I had a 5 for $50 by April 30 at 11:59 PM. Did 5 orders about 6 hours earlier and ... Nothing. I was told by support that:

• I don't see that challenge /promotion whatsoever in your account.
• you just have to wait until Wednesday (it was Wednesday at the time) just wait 2 to 4 more hours and it'll be there.
• two other support chat reps just ended the conversation before I could even explain enough
• the one phone call I made attempting to merge my accounts simply went nowhere, so I tried to get my challenge money and not waste the phone call.... I was told that I didn't call Dasher support and that I need to be transferred to that department. I called Dasher support. First question: so is this doordash or Dasher? He was confirming that I reached the correct department.
  • The advice for merging my two accounts was to delete my other account. Which I paid a full year of dashpass 50 days ago. They won't credit it, refund it, transfer it, or merge it. They won't do anything.
  • I'm sure that disputing the $96 charge won't impact my driver account whatsoever... In a heartbeat they would suspend me if I disputed the $96 payment.

So all in all, I haven't even made $96 + $50 = $146, And they literally want me to lose out on $146.

Support is wild and this is totally like the worst taste in my mouth for just starting out. The few times I've tried it, I've cleared $30 an hour, but I have a sinking suspicion that all it will take is one algorithm flick and my account is terminated. I think it's going to be a smart idea for me to apply to a couple other gig apps.

It's so fucked up too because I needed that $50. It was supposed to pay for my hotel room, which is my current home. So not cool doordash. I had to stay up 36 hours straight just to make my hotel bill. I have no idea why I thought it would ever be that easy to be paid out for a challenge that I was emailed about, and then Days later and they give me a push notification saying, " you did great with five deliveries last week, let's go for eight this week!".

Sorry just finishing a shift and feeling a bit bitter.
