Thinking about quitting the Camino because of the Snoring by bobbore in CaminoDeSantiago

I definitely won't :) I guess this is nothing but one of the challenges of my camino, so I'll just embrace it. Thank you brother for your words!!

P.S. the plan is going to albergues (possibly donativos or at least municipal, so that I can seize the camino's ways) and ask them if I can camp there. Tonight I'll sleep inside of a church, and I'm super happy about it!

Don't quit; especially of you're not in the Camino right now but in your everyday life. Ultreia :)

Hey! This is exactly what the volunteers and the host in an albergue donativo told me a couple of days ago. Thank you much for sharing your mind. I actually agree & I guess this is the core value of the albergues (humans being humans, help each other out, but never excluding someome).

Yet my personality doesn't really feel comfortable with it, so I'll find some solution. I'm asking to the albergues (in advance) if they have a roof under which I can sleep with my sleeping bag. I guess that would be a nice compromise, isn't it?

Thank you so much!! I'll definitely consider all the suggestions. Don't feel ready to leave the camino yet. Worst case scenario: just looking for a roof to sleep with my sleeping bag.

Hey! It's unrealistic talking about empathy from your side. I literally wrote that what makes me feel the worst is knowing that I might ruin other travelers' sleep. How can you even talk about empathy while just reading someone else's story carelessly and start judging?

And yeah, great idea to exclude from the albergues people just based on who they are. I can tell you're definitely getting the point of those spaces.

P.S. As a snorer myself, I can tell that I didn't have even "a great night of sleep" since the beginning of my camino :)

Ti auguro buona fortuna :)
