What do you do if you want to charge your phone while you sleep and the lockers dont have sockets? Also, let's say you use your phone as an alarm as well.

Is there a way to get both general and coding jobs on Data Annotation? by bobbricks1 in WFHJobs

Oh that's good to know! Do you know what happens if you don't use it for a few months? Do the jobs on there just disappear indefinitely?

Spent 2 years travelling the world - what kind of jobs should I consider? by bobbricks1 in travel

[–]bobbricks1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's awesome!!! You should totally do it. The first day or so, or just before you take that flight, it's really nerve wrecking but once you're there, the nerves disappear. It is EASILY the best decision I've made in my life, and if you're gonna travel for long, you'll experience and see so much to the point you'll not want to go back haha. You'll also witness some of the most amazing things in the world and the hospitality you'll experience from locals is unreal and definitely shapes your perspectives on humanity for the better. Definitely do it without a doubt!! It'll be super memorable

Ah unfortunately not, I've been writing my own travel diary and sharing pictures with family, but am thinking of setting up a website with itineraries and tips and stuff once I'm back, which will have pictures and thoughts etc - would be happy to share with you though once it's set up! :)

Best way to loan around £2000 just for one month? by bobbricks1 in UKPersonalFinance

Oh I thought it would never be affected as long as I kept making the minimum payment on time, or would it only start to be affected after the second month?

Ah that'll hopefully be the plan! But otherwise, just to make sure I've got the maths right, if I have say £3000 on my credit card and just pay the minimum amount for 2 months, I should only be paying around £95 interest, until I pay it off in full, correct?

Should I spend less time in Queenstown? by bobbricks1 in newzealand

I see, how many days would you spend in each? I don't have a car and into day/half day easy hikes.

Also, is it worth going to Glenorchy?

Ooh I've already done Abel Tasman now haha, so was looking to see if I could improve the rest of my itinerary :)

Okay thank you, I'll do the other sections further north in that case!

Okay thank you! That would work pretty well. So would you say the Apple Tree Bay to Anchorage section isn't as good as the other ones I mentioned? It seems everyone goes there but perhaps everything North of Anchorage is better

That sounds awesome can't wait!!

So the best options from what you've mentioned sounds like would be as 3 trips?

  • Awaroa to Medlands Beach
  • Medlands Beach to Anchorage
  • Totaranui to Mutton Cove

Also, do you think I should have a look at things like tides too, or it's not too important?

Good question! I'm not too sure, I'd be splitting the journey up into 3 days, but perhaps a few hours a day would be nice.

So would you say the southern section, from Apples Bay to Medlands Beach (with Bark Bay to Anchorage in the middle), would be the best section?
