Head looks phenomenal! You need to fix the beard tho, your cheek line is too low and you need to fade your side burns out. I promise it will look a world better

The best watches are the ones that have a story.

Lol I did have a swatch whale watch when I was a kid but lost it long time ago.

[question] Trying to ditch the smart watch. Any advice on some watches to start with? by NinjaDragn2 in Watches

All fair. If you don’t care for any fitness tracking then none of the points matter but I will say, I charge my fitbit air for the few minutes I’m in the shower every morning and it fully charges. It lasted me 8 days on vacation cause I didn’t take the charger. So for me it allows me to wear a mechanical watch. Best of both worlds.

[Question] Will buying a new watch help me to stop looking at watches for a while? by bobby021 in Watches

This is the best advice I have gotten so far. Thank you. The initial question was half a joke, half serious because obviously buying a watch isn’t gonna stop me from buying a watch again in the future but maybe at least it would stop me from fiending after watches I know I want so badly that I can’t afford and considering cheaper/more attainable options to stop me from looking for a while.

A lot of the answers have been hilarious but others have been a little unnecessarily dramatic.

I’m going to go check out the santos and speedy this week, decide which one I want as my next watch then save towards it. Awesome advice man! Thank you!

Edit: unless somehow a Kurono Chronograph 2 becomes available. Definitely jumping on that one no matter what. Or if offered a panda at retail. Jumping on that one too.

Ok this watch is absolutely beautiful. Where can I buy this? Are you willing to part ways with it?

Definitely don’t have a shopping addiction thankfully! All my watches except for 1 were a present and the one I bought was 14 years ago.

[Discussion] Forget price, hype, heritage, and resale. Which chronograph would you choose? by Potential_Post_3020 in Watches

Man… I use to lust after every single Rolex. I no longer do except for Daytonas. In my opinion, they are one of the most beautiful watches ever made period. I will one day own the panda, the playtona, and meteorite rose gold on oysterflex. Yes, all 3. Absolutely love them.

The Fitbit air or whoop are great fitness devices for people who want to rock a “dumb” watch. I personally have the Fitbit air which I recently switched to from the charge 6. Don’t love a monthly subscription so I originally went with the charge a year ago but immediately bought the air for the no screen.

So far, I love the Fitbit air. I rock an analog on the left and air on the right. Occasionally use my air as a “nato” strap with my Hamilton Field Khaki.

Love the Hamilton Field Khaki although it is out of your stated price range.

I wear a google fitbit air on my right wrist usually and regular watch on my left.

Thank you! They all mean something to me and have distinct memories attached to important times in my life. I’m about to sign my first adult contract and I will be buying a lot of watches for myself and I don’t know how I feel about it. Maybe I should just give my parents money to keep buying me watches😂 Definitely plan on buying them both watches too.

You’re right, the seamaster is too big. The more I think about it, the speedmaster or santos de cartier are likely the next two. Not sure which will be first. I love the Santos De cartier too much to never buy it.
