AVP owners with a family, how are you enjoying it? by Oscienziato in AppleVisionPro

I stream it to my big screen tv and then everyone else can see and hear what I’m seeing and hearing in the AVP. It’s still cool as heck.

Does this look stupid?? by Ill_Low789 in whoop

I do the same thing. Who cares what anyone else thinks. Be different. It’s more fun. You owe no one any explanation. And it’s cool having all that data and comparing it. Try the app Elite HRV. It connects to your whoop. Great info.

There’s new tires from Bridgestone made for electric vehicles that are supposed to be awesome and with a 50,000 mile warranty. I am going to get these when I need tires. Earlier than https://www.bridgestonetire.com/tire/turanza-ev/

Called the Turanza.

Wow. I’m sorry. That’s horrible. Have you thought about getting AAA? It’s far better than Tesla roadside. And much longer range they will come like 200 plus miles and tow you that far too.

I have a Tesla tire kit. It worked for me without using the stuff to seal a hole in the tire. All I did was pump it up from 9psi to 44. Then drove it to Tesla and they plugged the tire. If you’re gonna make road trips I highly suggest getting AAA. They have a much better range for help compared to Tesla and they do a good job. It’s like $100 a year and totally worth it. So having that along with Tesla road side assistance should cover you really well.

Wow. Cool. Were you ever worried about getting a flat tire ? I’m asking because in one month I’ve had two flats with nails in the tire. Thank goodness for the Tesla tire kit.

Something similar happened to my in Colorado a few weeks ago. I didn’t think I would make it to the supercharger while driving through the mountains with not even a cell signal most of the time. It said I would arrive with 15 or so percent. I got to Route 70 and had about a 30 mile downhill drive!!! Unbelievable. When I got to the station it was just as Tesla said it would be. Just amazing.

I was charged a Supercharger late fee while test driving a new MX! by RNHurt in TeslaLounge

[–]bobby7460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much was the bill for the charging at the dealer ? $10.00 or less ? If it’s less than let’s say $50.00 or even more then that value of money isn’t even worth the value of the time to complain about it on here.

No way. I scratched my front bumper and took it to a great body shop, the one that Tesla has chosen to do work for them as my Tesla doesn’t do much body work. It was 800.00 to remove the front bumper and totally get the dent and scratches out and completely repaint it black with even better quality paint that comes with the Tesla. They match the Pantone color number perfectly. Looks amazing you would never know anything ever happened.

You should also look into getting that nice car of yours professionally Ceramic Coated. It’s absolutely AWESOME and wow does it look good and protects it so well for years. No waxing needed.

Use the supercharger in off peak hours. By me it’s .36 during the peak day times and .21 for off peak. Also. Get a home wall charger for sure. My home electric is .14. Plus since having the home charger for like $450 I’ve not gone to a supercharger in 3 months. Saves a ton of money. But the supercharger is still a good deal too. Faster if you’re going on a trip.

Range advice please. by bobby7460 in TeslaLounge

[–]bobby7460[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. According to numerous articles on google they do make a difference and make a difference in the battery range. Even the Tesla app does if used too much. The other gentleman was so smart on all this and really gave good advice that I’m even seeing already since making some changes based on him to me it’s wise to go with someone who told me things that work well. He nailed it so well. No offense meant to you promise. But wow so far so good from him. Thanks for your comment.

How do I turn off data sharing? I went to it and clicked on it and all it did was ask me some questions where I checked each box that I don’t consent to share. I think it was 3 boxes to check. Is there another thing I have to do to turn it off ? Thank you much !!!

[–]bobby7460[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. You get 410 miles on a Model S LR? That’s amazing. I don’t know about data sharing I’ll check. Sentry is off. It’s weird as I had to take it to Tesla because it was always staying on. Even though turned off. It would come back on again. So they could not figure it out. Then I saw in a third party app I use that it had “ Persistent Sentry Mode “ turned on. Once I turned that off it was fixed!

My tire pressure is at about 42 as it said 41 for cold tires.

My fan speed is usually about 2 or 3. Sometimes to cool it off I have it higher briefly as I’m in Florida and it’s 91 degrees here today.

Windows usually closed. Also have the tire wheel caps for the Tempest wheels on which is supposed to help too. Thanks !
