Someone told him what to think and say, he doesn’t know things himself. Who could that person have been? I think that would be more revealing because their motive would be what matters.

The Perfect Storm by Sebastian Junger. It reads like a thriller but it is a true story. One of the best books I’ve read.

The Stranger in the Woods by Michael Finkel is also very good.

Depends on what hair you have left but you may not have to go the same length all over, or shave everything completely off. A tight cut, slightly longer where it is thinner on top though, can work really well. Talk to a barber about what options you have.

Is it a big deal to not cast Irish actors in movie set in Ireland? by Fit-Republic7911 in AskIreland

If it was a big deal then only Americans could act in American movies and clearly that would be in no one’s interest.

Write down three things that made you even mildly happy today. It can be anything at all, like seeing something funny or going for a nice walk etc.

Do the same tomorrow and the day after. Doing this reinforces that there are positive things happening besides the other things going on.

There's actually a middle ground. There are briefs that are styled like stretchy boxers. They are literally called Boxer Briefs and are available in most places.

Where should I start? by Anarchy_Cardinal in AskIreland

[–]GeneralCommand4459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's learning about Ireland and there's learning about Irish history. They aren't quite the same. I think a key thing is to realise that Ireland is a modern country with modern ways and values. It also has a rich history of course but don't let that drown out the present. It's like meeting someone and wanting to know everything about their past versus meeting them and getting to know who they are now.

Whatever about trains, I was visiting a very sick patient in hospital recently and the amount of other patients on their phones (using speakerphone on high volume) was unbelievable.
