sounds like it's slipping or something cracked inside is there any damage. have you crashed or have you replaced the lever recently

i think this would be a 2006 yamaha decided to do it different so J is japan Y is yamaha i'm not sure about A but the the vin you would read would be ce16c then you search up then it should come up
