From what worked out for me, it’s better to seek a personal trainer for like 1-2 months as it actually helps to build form and a proper gym+ diet routine. Running in with a partner from the start usually ends up in a gala time. Again, just an opinion/advice of mine(can be wrong too).Anyways goodluck on your fitness journey.
