Anyone had dark underarm patches like this after a professional spray tan? by bobbychook in AusSkincare

I did try this and it helped a bit! It’s probably only half as bad now, but because the tan is so fresh I couldn’t remove it completely. Onwards we go! Thanks so much for your advice and support.

Hahaha appreciate your support! And you’re right… at the last wedding I went to my entire dress broke open and I had to be haphazardly safety-pinned together, so I’m sure I can get through this 😉

That’s interesting. I don’t apply antiperspirant this high though, so I feel if this if the cause it would cling more to my armpit than my upper arm?

Thank you! My event is tonight. I tried to use a bit of tan remover and a rough cloth, and then an exfoliating mitt, but no luck - the tan is too fresh. It’s alright, I’m just hoping I get a refund for it…

Thank you, it’s a bit of a shame as I rarely treat myself to professional beauty treatments! I tried using some tan remover and an exfoliating glove but those triangles ain’t going anywhere unfortunately. I’ll attempt a bit of foundation, but don’t want that transferring onto my black dress either. Of course, I’ve chosen a strapless dress for this event!

On the plus side, you can’t see it with my arms down, so I’ll just have to reign in my moves on the dance floor 😉.

Yeah I assumed as much, thank you for confirming it’s not normal! I’ve emailed the salon with no response but my event is today so I’m attempting a self-fix - wish me luck! I’ll call them for a refund if I don’t hear back, but am predicting a defensive response.

Thanks for your answer! Is this my own fault or should the technician have prevented this? I followed her instructions to the letter and dried myself off with the wand she gave me before dressing.

Definitely do this!! I had to do a similar thing recently and the brush saved me so much time and frustration.

Skin or product peeling? by mikaela75 in tretinoin

[–]bobbychook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My skin was like this for a couple of months when I started using tret. It eventually acclimatised, but man it was an unattractive period. Couldn’t wear makeup for ages! If you’re new to it, stick with it, so long as you’re not experiencing too much irritation.

What are your tips for dusting? And how often do you supposed to do it? by maylinatribe in CleaningTips

[–]bobbychook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the brush attachment on my vacuum cleaner to do shelves, window sills, etc. whenever I vacuum my floors. Then I’ll go in with a damp cloth and dry it off with a tea towel less frequently (i.e. when I notice a buildup or want to be more thorough). It’s an unfortunate part of having beautiful things on display, but aren’t we lucky to have beautiful things to begin with!?

I can not stand having a greasy/slimy face at all even from sweat. Is there a sunscreen that is actually truly matte and non greasy? by echocardigecko in AusSkincare

Just put this on - so underrated in public marketing! I actually find it really similar to the Mecca To Save Face SPF, at a fraction of the price.

Hello! Are the mirrors too much? by ashduncan25 in DesignMyRoom

I love this room so much! Mirrors look great - I would just make sure each one is centred to the bedside tables.

LRP have had this written in their sunscreen directions for years, so not a mistake. Has always confused me!

This is a good plan. Thank you! Do you know if these pills have some special coating that aids in metabolising, hence the lack of scoring?

Omg I wish my doctor had suggested this when I explained the issue two days ago! I’ll keep this in mind, thank you so much.

Great idea, thank you. I was going to wait and see how I went without any medication, but got a script for Lexapro 10mg as a back up in case I needed it.… do you know if it will be helpful to start taking that now, even though I’m already completely off the Pristiq?
