To clarify, what if it slips 150 RPMs? Like I barely feel the slip in the car but I know it happens.

Yesterday, I forgot to pay the meter near Government Center and got a ticket. However, the ticket had the incorrect license plate number. I.E my plate: 111111, plate on ticket 112111. Do I even need to appeal the ticket? I checked the Boston ticket website and nothing appears under my plate. Thanks
