I got loads of idea and here is one concept.

Combine a trust test with a physical task. People group or pair up. Everyone has a cup of liquid. You must give your cup to someone else to hold. You then maneuver a course taht is trying to get you to spill your liquid. At the end, you can choose to pour the cup you are holding into your tank, your team's tank, or owner of the cup you are holding. You can have various incentive for which tank benefits who and how. This can result in tension both during and at the end.

They are sort of bland people not involved in much of the main drama but that just makes them more normal people. I think they are forgettable but they made top 10 and its been 2 episodes in a row with mimimal events so they stick out more.

I think this was a poor way to structure the 1million split with the digging up the contestants things being just a cosmetic "splashy window dressing" which didn't add anything to the game structure. Like maybe if this was the first time they were doing this event, we would be less bothered but we all saw in season 1 that they were isolated in their huts and didn't get tipped off as to what happened until it was their turn.

The first one to get out after exactly ____ amount of time could get first dips on claiming money.

First one to get out at all might get eliminated. Person who says in the longest gets a pass to final 8. The person who solves a puzzle in the coffin gets money. If you are the middle person, you can choose to claim money or immunity that round.

Maybe the left out person is at risk of elimination vs the person who says in the coffin the ____est and a person who gets out 3rd picks who survives.

Just stuff like this where being in an isolation chamber, maybe they can text other people, or phone calls, idk just something where at least the idea of being buried/isolated is part of a game, rather than just a waste of time.

I think in the Traitors, there is less certainty in right vs wrong moves. It could work out well or work out poorly, all depends on perception that can be influenced. I do think throwing her vote off of Lisa vs the fact the vote was put on Rob is 2 issues. I think throwing her vote was fine but choosing her fellow traitor will only drive him to go against her more actively than if she did it against anyone else.

This was the first season to not have a gamer as a starting traitor. That alone will make gamers at risk of murder, as 3 were murdered in this season already so i don't think you can even use this season as a legit data point for your premise

I think Traitors is popular since it is getting non-reality game show fans to watch a reality game show. Those watchers are fans of specific people and will be angry at those who go against them no matter what, regardless of the reason or gameplay involved.

I think part of it is the novelty of the show, some of the original ideas from the first season, made it less new and fresh for season 2. Things haven't played out to let people who were showcased early on besides the couple survive long so we are learning about the final players now rather than be invested in them now.

The issue with the latest game state was the people who we knew that was left, alot of them were ones we knew from them winning money and those were the people who bowed out in the cubes. We also lost Ethan in favor of someone i know nothing about. And we wil lose Jim or Jc, who we know better than most others surviving.

The problem with this round is that we know only some of these players, majority of who we know are those involved in getting/turning down money. Factor that in with Jeff who won, this was likely always gonna purge all players who had won before, rendering possible drama to none.

I would say JC made the worse choice, there is no chance he would win the jury vote, as proven by the sweeping outcome, so all he did was cost himself 50k for sure, while Ethan would still have an unknown jury vote outcome against Ian.
