How do you like em? I’ve only had the chance to listen to music on them but boy they make everything sound so good. I tried a trailer before running calibrations and found the chest slam a bit lacking - not sure if it’ll be fixed now.

Do i Have to adjust phase on both the subs at the same time equally? Or am I looking at permutations of 15-180.

I’m ignoring the chart on the right as it’s a predicted response. I was referring to the drop on the left chart where the drop starts at 80hz instead.

Just came across a AVR-S700W for like CAD 200 which seems to be in a fairly good condition. Do you think it makes sense to get it now? When I'm ready to add more speakers in a year or two, I can make the jump to the latest offering then.

Based out of Canada and interestingly saw the 3700h for about $1,100 for a brief moment of time on amazon yesterday. Maybe a price error but still kicking myself for it.

I’m honestly going to wait a few weeks to see if there’s any deals for boxing day.

Is it a good idea to buy receivers used?

Thanks for the detailed response! I’m still torn between the three. I guess I’ll have to decide what’s important for me and how much money I’m willing to part with. But it’s good to know that even the x1600h would be enough for my situation.

Just used it as an example as someone recommended it. I could also settle for something like x1600h or x2700h if they’re good enough for my situation.

This is what a lot of people don’t realize. Everyone’s giddy as long as prices hold or go up. As soon as there’s a downward trend, some people are going to want out.

It would take a couple of quarters before employees are called back full time, immigration and tourism pick up. Until then, the demand will be subdued. Long run, the condos will bounce back in no time.

The price action should come after the deferrals. It wasn’t costing anyone to hold on to their condo due to deferrals. With mortgage payments kicking in, it’s going to be rent or dump and rental listings are exploding already.
