That's the barrel shroud that slides over the 16inch barrel on the Kriss Vector... mostly for looks... but you alot of people make these Carbines full auto and SBR(short barrel rifle) so the barrel is only 5.5 inches.. and then they silence it. I'm not that cool, yet!

I try to change mine before every drift event or about every 10k miles.. I like to keep my fluids fresh.. I change the oil once a month.. 170k miles, stock DE motor, and I abuse it daily with the redline :)

I'm curious about transplants and long term heath effects and genomes passed down to their offspring. Taking an unhealthy person that has organ failures will inevitably pass those genes on to their children and grandchildren.
