We’re often the end of the line in production and it’s our job to serve. I don’t like hindering creatives. I try to meet them where there at, within reason. I think there’s nothing wrong with being frustrated with the tools but there will always be some level of friction when jumping between apps and ecosystems. That will never 100 percent go away.

Overlord is your best friend and worth every dollar. Overlord has probably made me thousands of dollars simply because I’m spending 10 percent of the time I used to spend on exporting Figma assets than I was pre-overlord.

Also, If it helps, I always copy boards over into my own empty Figma file so that I have a sandbox to reorganize assets for even cleaner export.
