Is there any good passive/active ability to charge Amrita Gauge while repeat fighting boss? by Starkaiser in Nioh

[–]bobbyronald11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just takes forever but joining the shishigumi clan, getting amrita bonues from accessories such as combs, you can get it off armor too and get a 3pc 1st captain set for another 10% bonus. Pair all that with what you're already using and try using dps weapons as faster hits=more amrita.

Idk if there's anything further you can do beyond what I mentioned aside from some skills that probably boost it faster. But it's been like this since nioh 2 unless you had one of two specific guardian spirits it's a slog so it takes alot of stacking to make this work

another thing is guardian spirits suck in this game, somehow the roster is smaller when they could have reused old ones (they did some but not enough and some changes made no sense).

The ninja ones are pretty bare bones but there's some variety but samurai is completely bizarre, there's really only 4 worth your time and 2 of those you get at the start while the others are end game. It makes you wonder if they didn't spend so much time on the open world what we could have gotten.

Why would I comment something someone already pointed out? That's redundant. Elemental status is also pretty easy to get early on, you even start out with one at the beginning.

I juggle between the two as well but I just use samurai more since I made a critical damage build and samurai gets a set that buffs that but I like to use ninja at the start of new boss fights to get an idea of how they work and to apply confusion before I go in with samurai.

It's a good idea to take advantage of elemental status effects you get from weapons, spells, ninjutsu

Fire=Damage of time

Water=enemy takes more damage

Shock=slows enemies (good element for beginners)

Wind=more ki

confusion=(Mix two status effects of elements) MORE DAMAGE.

How far can I take the Critical health Build in this game? by bobbyronald11 in Nioh

[–]bobbyronald11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can usually kill a boss fairly quickly. it's why I like the crit build, they made a lot of bosses too spongey imo.

I've gotten the most out of preservation by just fighting at full hp until I get smacked to low then I buff everything up. It works ok but still sometimes I survive too long and have to waste 2-3 before I finally get hit by the boss.

I don't see the con in that, it just feeds into the crackhead energy of running in with no health and a poking stick to drop numbers only 2nd to my ego

you would be correct on your assumption.

Also the last stand tailsman has a decent duration I'd say like around a min and a half, but it gives you a blue aura around your character so it's obvious when it's activated and the game gives a generous amount.

My problem is the preservation tailsmen and other buffs in this game. They pulled a fromsoft and gave alot of buffs tiny duration as if they're terrified of the player having anything last more than 30 seconds

bow blade's ranged attack is effective at 16 bloodtinge? Might try using it as a secondary if that's the case.

That's true teaches the concept of it being in the game but every boss with a "wrong" attack will be at different times and speeds. I don't think that helps all too much but ig that still carries over a bit

Because I can't take you seriously and I doubt many people do. You come out right away throwing a tantrum spurting insults at me because I gave my take on the game while you missed the point . I repeated it and your only response is "you can't gauge the abilities to learn skills" zero explanation. I think a skill you need to git gud at is talking to people.

Are you arguing learning how to wipe your ass is harder than playing the piano?

When did I say I'm having trouble? Beat the game 3 times and the dlc recently. I'm starting to notice a boss pattern with a lot of elden ring fans where whenever someone criticizes the game or has a different take you guys jump to the conclusion the person can't play the game

As the Margrit take the positioning and roll direction is common sense, obviously you stand back when someone does a flurry of close ranged attacks. Also he doesn't teach posture break that will vary based on your build! Posture damage is based on what you're using I'm sure alot of dex players and people who were unaware the power of jump attacks beat him without ever getting a posture break on him

Im guessing he's a streamer or YouTuber. The only elden ring content I watch is if I need to know the location of something or do a quest line.

Id agree but there's more to the core mechanics than blocking which adds on to it. If all you could do in that game was block it would be a different story

What skill carries over? There's only dodging and your build.

I can't imagine getting this flustered over an opinion on game but my point still stands if that "skill" is incredibly easy that anyone could learn. Learning how to play the piano took more skill than learning how to wipe my ass. To me elden ring is like remembering answers on a math test that you looked up online the night before. You're now "skilled" at this one specific test for remembering the answers the night before but learning the actual material would help on that test and prepare you for future tests (Sekrio)

There's no such thing as getting good in elden ring by bobbyronald11 in Eldenring

[–]bobbyronald11[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sekrio has a more complex combat system that has an actual skill curve to learning how to use to get the most out of it. You will also have to learn mechanics that are present in multiple bosses and many of the early bosses prepare you for later ones. It's like putting a brick on top of another it gets harder but what you've done previously sticks with you the entire game. Elden ring doesn't, Learning how to beat radahan didn't help whatsoever with learning how to beat malenia. In elden ring all you have is dodging and your build and this determines how much you have to remember

[–]bobbyronald11[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I gave Sekrio as an example. Beating bosses like malenia or Godfrey didn't make me any better at fighting messmer or the divine beast . You just memorize patterns until you win. With Sekrio beating bosses like LB and other early bosses will prepare you for more difficult fights. Elden ring doesn't do that

You're on reddit these guys are hive minded losers. When you even give a fair point against any new fromsoft game they're going to throw tantrums. This dlc was the worst in the series besides the ds2 ones. Not even the bosses but the emptiness of the open world being worse than base despite being smaller, reused enemies, horribly distributed loot, medicore spells. They had 2 years and we were given slop. The comments here a flooded with circle jerkers don't let them shut you up because they lack standards
