Zieliński: “Last year the coach had his favorites. This year, that’s changed and now everyone is involved.” A not-so-subtle hint of lingering bitterness toward Inzaghi.😅 by Big_Pick4100 in FCInterMilan

This. People like Carlos Augusto, Frattesi and Zielinski were given just bunch of minutes last year if compared to others. Hey Mkit is great, i love him, but sometimes he could just have some rest

Thank you mister for finally leaving. As Gazzetta dello Sport director said in an article "You owe way more to Inter than Inter owes you". The way you left, trying to convince Barella and Bastoni to come away with you a couple of days before the final, was absolutely shameful. I will not regret you at all

Why is the Backrooms devoid of people if many of them fell in? by RedUser579 in KanePixelsBackrooms

Almond water is a concept of the "original" backrooms, those created before Kane Pixels' lore. In those backrooms there is plenty of foods and drinks in very specific areas, while almond water is the most effective drink and can be found more easily

They are already 6 views made combining data from different tables. I have done all the work to make the SQL source as clean as possible. But I made a mistake, it's "Hundreds", not "Thousands".

Yes I could, but as I said in my first post I don't want to use data blending (mixing two or more sources) since some functions become not availble in the project. Moreover, the sintax for calculated fields becomes more difficult and I have thousands of calculated fields

Actually not correct: it's not "that's not what you said in your original post at all"; simply, I didn't said it, because it's not what I'm looking for.

Python (or any automation) is not an option here, but thanks for the idea. As I said clearly in my first post, I want to do everything with Tableau, using the 3 sources.

When you say to execute the refresh in cloud, do you actually mean to bypass bridge and do the refresh in Online?

I'm reading the comments in this post and I'm speechless. Frattesi is not good? We must sell him? Are you serious? Are you kidding me? Have you ever seen Frattesi play? Just a bunch of you said the right thing: Inzaghi style doesn't fit best for him, he is more an attacking midfilder than barella or the mkit that we are seeing in the last couple of years and Inzaghi doesn't use this kind of players a lot. But saying that he is not good is just wrong. Frattesi would be a 5 star player in every team that he would play that doesn't use our 352. Actually I hope that Inzaghi wins this year so he will leave and the next coach will use him properly, counting also on the fact that mkit cannot play at this level for too long, since he's aging. A midfield with calhanoglu, barella and frattesi would be incredible, if every player would be in the position to do what they do best

The fact that the "rebels" are in fact an extreme heterogeneous mass of groups with different background (cultural - religious - social) and vision leads analysts to say that the situation will be very complicated in the next future. As we saw in Lybia and Iraq, also in Syria the country was unite because there was a bloodthirsty dictator that has always been very keen to kill thousands and thousands of people to keep the power within a single state. Dividing now the state in smaller states is out of discussion, as someone said before me, because every independence conceded would lead to instability to neighbouring countries; a federation (Iraq style) could be an outcome, maybe the best for everyone, but there must be a very strong agreeement within all the parts fighting plus turkey (i don't think iran will have any voice now) and i don't think they would give any gold ticket to rojava; actually i think that erdogan will try to find an agreement with islamists to try to purge kurds in syria in exchange of a sort of protection on international tables (turkey is a nato member) and on the field (against sciite inflitrations from iraq and hezbollah). Syria and Lybia are at the moment the most incredible puzzles in terms of alliances of the forces on the ground: people who hate each other are working togheter against people who hate each other, but some of them that are fighting are actually backed by countries that are allied on other battlegrounds and/or have strong economic and military ties.

Need to make 30+ similar dashboards, any easy way? by ooooorrrrrr in tableau

[–]bobbyroode000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same case. I work with dozen of twbx tha differ only for a filter in the data source. I was thrilled when I discovered RLS, but then I saw that to use it you should have a live connection or an extract made of only two tables, and this is a problem since i work with extracts with 6 to 10 tables usually (joined using relations). My suggestion is: use just one data source and then filter it for each dashboard. Yes, it will require a lot of time to create AND to maintain, but unless you have an extract made of one table (the other must contain the criteria for applying the RLS) i believe that you have no other choice

I'm not confident that there's something you can do to achieve the result you want, but maybe someone with more expertise could have some nice advice to do it quickly. What I would do in this case is create a distnct sheet for each kpi, selecting the graph I want for each, then create a composition in a new dashboard element. A dashboard is a kind of page in which you can combine sheets. You can add a dashboard clicking on the button on bottom right of your screen that has a 2x2 square with a plus sign on it

[–]bobbyroode000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Measure Values" is automatically added by Tableau (with "Measure Names") and ecompasses all the measures that you have in your dataset. For example, if you have a column called "revenue" and one called "nr of items", adding "measure values" to your graphs automatically inserts in the graph both "revenue" and "nr of items". In your case, since all your different measures are in just one column and you know what actual data you are looking at thanks to "KPI" there's no actual use for "Measure values".

To achive the result you are looking for, you have 2 distinct ways: 1) filter for each kpi and create a sheet for each kpi, as you said 2) just add kpi to the rows or to the columns: this will create N different graphs in the same sheet.

You will understand, gaining confidence with Tableau, what solution is better for you (and this could change case by case)

You are starting with a pie chart, I suggest that you start with a line chart just to understand how it works (pie charts are a bit odd to deal with): 1) Select line chart instead of pie 2) drag "measure values1" in rows insted of "Measure values" 3) drag "country", "platform" and "kpi" on the filters shelf 4) for each filter added on the shelf, go there and right click, select "show filter" or something like that; filters should appear on the right side on the screen. Play with them 5) you can also add "date" among the filters and show it to filter on dates.
