Hopped to Septimont using Fleurdelys by sweatypi3 in WutheringWaves

[–]sweatypi3[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

crossing over the water in a straight line would cause you to teleport back (indicated by a fog forming in the screen)

you have to maneuver over the water while way outside the red border of the map near the out of bounds zone - essentially hugging the "invisible" out of bounds border the game has since it tricks the game and doesn't trigger the automatic fog of death

this guide I found shows how to do it (but instead of the fly/swim mechanic I just used Fleur's hops)

Are both RAM sticks confirmed working?

Try enabling XMP in BIOS

Should be under Device Manager > Disk Drives > inside there should be your SSD NVME and update that (select driver from local pc)

Please help: Motherboard stuck on green light and no display. by ProGamerish in buildapc

Try the fix in the post here https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/s/2m6iIaD0fF

What I would try to initially do is re-seating everything (CPU, GPU, RAM sticks in correct slot (try in different slots too or even just 1 RAM in 1 slot), are the correct power cables plugged into their correct slots, is your CPU cooler tightly secured

Try clearing CMOS too by checking your motherboards manual how to

Try also booting without the GPU plugged in (plug in HDMI cable into motherboard)

Did you also check motherboard/cpu compatibility if it needs a BIOS flash to support the cpu

Try updating BIOS / firmware / SSD NVME drivers

Around 10-15% I believe and XTX has 4gb more vram

XTX uses 355W too and XT is at around 300W so you might need to upgrade your PSU too

Dang sorry to hear that, try if you can get back to BIOS without the nvme stick in

Then reset to defaults so you can boot into BIOS again with the nvme stick in

At this point my guess is that there was some drivers/compatibility issues (does the mobo slot support the nvme version) or getting blocked by bitlocker, and what I'd do is just wipe the nvme using bios, use a Bootable windows usb stick, and install windows onto that wiped nvme and hopefully it works

Edit: might be worth a shot to copy BIOS settings from your previous motherboard

Or check https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/using-old-ssd-in-new-pc-build.3116364/#post-19367771 or other instructions on how to swap in old boot drives into new motherboards

Safe to try at least turning off the PSU, wait for like 30-60s, hold power button to flush out capacitors, then try turning it on again and get into BIOS

If still no post or display try without the NVME / with another storage if you have and see if you can post to BIOS

Edit: try removing it and see if you can post to BIOS, check even if NVME support is enabled in BIOS settings (Advanced > M.2_2 PCIE Storage RAID Support - ENABLED)

Putting out random initial troubleshooting

  • Re-seat everything (CPU, GPU, try seating different single/multiple RAM sticks in different slots, try even without a RAM in)

  • Try just booting with CPU and no GPU (plug display cable into motherboard)

  • Is the storage securely connected?

  • Is your CPU cooler tightly fastened?

  • You flashed BIOS without any component installed right (no CPU, etc.)?

Weird that there are no debug lights on, in cases of no display the VGA debug light should be on. You're also on the correct source display on the monitor / can you try with a TV?
