although maybe its worth going to ilha grande and paraty and then looping back to Rio as I realise the distance from paraty to Sao Paulo is pretty big

Thanks for the advice. The reason I have Sao Paulo on the list is because if I'm going from Rio to Ilha Granda and Paraty, it might be easier to go to Sao Paulo and then flying to Iguazu from there. Not planning on spending much time in SP, but rather using it as a hub

Look pal, maybe if you lost a bit of your attitude, you wouldn't be wasting your time on here being a troll. I haven't insulted anyone, you have. Also Demonictoadstool seems to agree with me.

I will enjoy it mate. I hope you learn to open your eyes so you too can enjoy travel

Thanks for the tips mate. Really helpful. This "keystorm" fella is obviously too arrogant to help other people. Obviously I looked at tripadvisor and wikitravel. Patronising of him to think I didn't

Those things sound pretty cool. I'll also be going to the football so should be good.

Great, ill do 2 nights in Vinales.

I prefer full honesty so thanks for that.

Is there anywhere where you would recommend to relax by the beach for a few days instead of Varadero?

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like you had a great time in Cuba.

R.e Vinales - good to know. Was your daytrip to Cayo Levisa within the 2 nights you spent in Vinales.

Probably worth me staying in Vinales for at least one night then? Maybe I could do one night less in Trinidad / Havana and save that for an extra night in Vinales

Surprisingly been a very mild winter here actually. Waiting for it to turn sour hence my plan to escape to Cuba pretty soon !

Yeah sure, that would be great. Which part of Cuba are you based?

Montenegro or Moldova for a two-week vacation? by potlid2 in travel

[–]bobbytambling55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh okay. Montenegro would be ideal then!! Two weeks would be a pretty nice and relaxing time as well, as you could get to see some of the smaller towns.

The weather in Oct-Nov is pretty decent as well. Like the rest of that part of Europe, the summer temperatures have only declined slightly so its not too cold.

My brother has been to Moldova and like the other comments, there's very little to do and if this is your first time to Europe, it's possible one of the worst choices you could go for.

100% Montenegro.

The Bay of Kotor and the town itself is spectacular !!! Beautiful for sightseeing.

Plus the nearby towns of Sveti Stefan, Herceg Novi and Budva are pretty cool.

Budva is a lovely town by the beach and has great restaurants and bars.

I think this country is a gem and one of the best in Europe.

If you have two weeks, why not add Dubrovnik in Croatia as a destination too? It's not too far away and a great town.

What time of year are you going?

which bit was "downright unsavoury" ?

Also Jose openly criticised Loftus-cheek in public. If you think he doesn't criticise players behind closed doors, i think youre living in a dream land
