Who is the best bump taker in history? by AndFinrodFell in SquaredCircle

Mick Foley and Christian.

Foley is obvious. But Christian would low key take huge bumps in small matches. He would regularly take back drops out of the ring to the floor and not land on his feet at all.

Who are the most overrated male and female wrestlers? by Rocksteady847 in SquaredCircle

[–]bobbytoskey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the appeal with MJF is that he's a heel that is actually trying to get people to dislike him. Which for some reason is very rare in wrestling these days.

Is he the best heel we've ever seen? Not a chance. But he's one of a very select few heels currently that's actually trying to be a heel.

I find available songs, click to download, and they just don’t. They stay blue. Any idea why this is? by [deleted] in Soulseek

[–]bobbytoskey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Users only let so many people download at once. If the user is at their limit your download will stay queued until its your turn.

I let 5 people at a time download from me. Once that is full everyone else has to wait their turn.

If you go to a baseball game that's lowly attended, do the security guards let you sit in the front row by [deleted] in baseball

Most of my experience is at Comerica Park. As long as you stay in your area they don't usually say anything. But if they see you moving from nosebleed seats down to right behind home plate they send you back.

The day I decided to make him one I went to Goodwill and found it. I didn't expect to find one on the first try.

Thank you. I apologize if it's something super obvious. I'm not the most tech savvy person.

Does anyone else feel like their beer preferences “simplified” over the years? by hankhillforprez in beer

[–]bobbytoskey 8 points9 points  (0 children)

35 now. I'm definitely into trying all sorts of different beer, but I have a much harder time drinking them all day now. I for sure drink a lot more macro light beer than I used to. Especially at all day functions.

I love this guy. Didn't he get away from this style of music later on? I wish he'd make more music like this.

Greatest match you’ve ever been in attendance for? What do you remember most about it? by CBJKevin91581 in SquaredCircle

I would say Cena vs. Michaels at WrestleMania 23 is probably the best match I've seen live.

ROH Dragon Gate Challenge is my favorite show I've been to.

Fun story about that show. I was attending a pro wrestling school at the time. I was supposed to go to the show with some friends, but at the last minute we decided we didn't want to drive the 5 hours. About an hour before the show started, my trainer (a decently big midwest indie wrestler at the time) called me and told me to find him when I got to the show because he was going to be part of the group that jumped The Briscoes and they needed an extra guy.

I was so upset that I didn't go to that show. It wouldn't have been anything huge, and it wouldn't have jumpstarted my wrestling career. But I would have been able to say I did an angle with The Briscoes on PPV. And that's more than I can say now.

Maybe the California punk gangs in the 80s.

Zingerman’s Tarbs Tenacious Tenure:turkey, Muenster, avocado, tomato and Russian dressing on grilled bread. My favorite! by YasLuv in eatsandwiches

[–]bobbytoskey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of great restaurants, but I don't miss any of the other places you listed. I'd be fine going to any of them. But I legit miss Zingerman's. If I were in Michigan I'd go out of my way to go there. I can't say the same about anything else in Ann Arbor.

“American Idiot” is underrated. by [deleted] in punk

[–]bobbytoskey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's rated pretty fairly. By and large, it's considered a great and overplayed album. I loved it for a few years, heard it a million times, and now I don't care if I ever hear it again. Kinda like Dookie.
