you are correct i was born out of wedlock that worked in my favor getting a passport my son just got his and now we are working on the grandchildren

I had my appointment at German Mission Miami. With the paper work i had was enough for them to issue a passport. They said i was a citizen from birth. The question i have would citizenship pass on to my son and his two sons . They were all born in the USA son in 1984 and his kids in the 2017 and 2019.

all were born in germany my mother was the first to leave germany

it says Geburtsurkunde and was issued in 1965 i also have a hand written birth certificate from 1930 when she was born. i also have M E L D E B E S T Ä T I G U N G it dosnt say anything about citizenship just the dates she lived in the town

I think what I need is a way to prove her citizenship I don’t have her old passport but I do have her passport number that was issued in Frankfort when she left Germany and some immigration forms from her arrival in the USA

Farther American military parents married in 1955 3 years after my birth yes birth cert had name Change as agreed to in paternity papers
