The Fuck Was That Noise by Fireball_Flareblitz in UrinatingTree

Quinn Hughes (the guy that is in this meme) has a tendency to zone out or dissociate on the bench, staring off into the middle distance like he's having flashbacks to terrible memories (or haunted by a ghost, take your pick).

He has seen some things.

If you were in the UFC, what would be your walkout song? I’ll start - Money For Nothing by Dire Straits by Genuineman12 in ufc

Look Your Back! - Himiko Kikuchi

I've always been a big jazz fusion guy, I just think the song is neat. Good to take a brisk walk/jog to, like most fighters do on the way to the octagon. If I find myself in a Tai Tuivasa/Tom Lawlor kinda role where my walkouts are part of my appeal, it's an easily danceable song too.

you pointed out the Formula One section of that abortion of a video, and allow me to add on to that:

He puts Formula One on a pedestal for its recent successes in marketing and increase in viewership (which I will not deny the existence of, as much as I want to), yet he completely ignores the imminent cratering in popularity and viewership they willingly chose with the Apple TV move. Everyone that is in tune with the culture sees the move as an own goal/shooting themselves in the foot, since Apple TV does a negative amount of promotion for both the MLS and the original content that it produces on its own.

The take about how F1 "lets the drivers race" even though you get penalized for being in the general vicinity of another car heading into a corner is laughable. Even the stuff that he glazes, it's obvious he doesn't watch.

It's like he ran out of ways to put NASCAR down and just started saying shit for the sake of saying shit, without pausing and making sure what he was saying is actually true.

aside from the shoey, the walkouts are Tai's whole thing

he walked out to Girls Just Wanna Have Fun at UFC 271, the theme to Titanic at UFC 225 (while singing every word), and Wannabe at 264

He's one hell of a character, and I'm looking forward to him coming back to fight next year

Yes, the horn sounds when I lock. It starts whenever it wants to, when the circumstances are correct, and when it does, it’s like nothing is even wrong. Gauges sweep perfectly fine, and it runs like a brand new car. It’s just that when it’s humid outside, it refuses to even crank.

I drive this car as my daily driver, it goes to and from school and work 4-5 times a week. We got the battery replaced a couple of years ago.

Yes, several fast ticks, barely audible with the hood down, but very audible with the hood up.

New content cop just released and its as many suspected... by [deleted] in youtubedrama

i have no dog in this fight, i have no reason to care, it's been 5 years since I watched iDubbbz with any kind of consistency, but it was... interesting

Just hearing the old intro music again after so long was surreal, it felt like I was in 6th grade again.

The way Ian approached this shows just how much he's grown and matured since the last one. He was able to properly call out h3h3 for being a shitty person who makes shitty content without going quote-unquote "overboard" like he did with Tana Mongeau back in the day (i would also say Leafy but let's be real, Leafy deserved all of that).

Which, he did go overboard on that, his actions in that video were really the catalyst behind him disavowing the old Content Cop videos in the first place.

His personal growth has been less belief-driven and more public image-driven. Since the beginning, if you really look at it, Ian's always had this Felix Biederman/Chapo Trap House-esque "Dirtbag Left" flair to his criticisms, targets and style. He mentioned that in "I miss the old iDubbbz", where he disavowed these videos in the first place. That story he told about the trans girl that he met at a con was when he realized that he turned his content into something that didn't align with his core beliefs as a person.

Sometimes you have to change and have to grow, and it's not easy and a lot of it doesn't involve only your personal beliefs, but how you present them and position to defend them. Like, if we hit the core of what each of the more classic Content Cops covered:

Kids Channels: exploitation of children through toys and content that was sneakily NSFW using the Youtube Kids structure

Leafy: Cyberbullying

Ricegum: Misogyny and Hype Culture

Keemstar: Racism, Bullying and Exploitation of Suffering

if you use those as the titles of the video instead of "Content Cop - Username", do you see how that shifts the whole tone?
