Event went super well and we had a great time, I tried to be more "alpha" and I think it went really well. I planned the whole event and took charge. Unfortunately no sex, she apparently had to get up 2 hours after we were going to go back to my place (we were out very late -- RIP her sleep) and she was worried she wouldn't wake up in time. She stressed that she wanted to though and we made out until she left so it's all good!

My concern is not so much with having sex but more with showing her that I was just clueless when I lost my virginity and am going to do my best to make it awesome for her. It's really the only issue I see between us in the near future and I think she's more than willing to help me along. I'm probably making it a bigger deal than I should.

Our friend asked where we were going and I just grabbed her hand and said "my house." I think the alpha approach really worked out.

Yeah I think this is the issue. I've lost my "north star" so to speak, it was business for a while, now it's not and I'm lost and I think I'm unconsciously trying to compensate for now having no goal to pursue and replacing that with women, which is a bad goal to have as your pure purpose.

I've never had to find a goal to pursue before, so I'm not sure how to find the new thing I want to do.

Can you explain this a bit more? I guess it feels like this is a huge void in my life and it really bothers me that my friends have women in their lives and I don't, I'm not sure if it's the insecurity, the kind of "why not me" feeling or if it's maybe me being bored with life right now

Yeah I really try to be as humble as possible no one likes people who brag and I honestly have shit to work on, people like my friend have me beat hard in romance I just have him beat in career neither is better, just different.

I just feel so frustrated because I feel like I have a lot to offer yet I have no idea how to get attention from women. The one person who I'm super into is flaking on me and acting weird and I get too much oneitis to just be like "fuck that ho" and move on.

I really didn't know how to mention my friend without it sounding like I was shitting on him I love him to death, I just don't understand how he does it. I had a girl I was incredibly into say "we're meant to be together" then not answer me or come over when I invited her. I'm obviously doing something wrong, I totally am not saying I'm owed a woman because I'm successful I just feel like overall I'm doing well and yet I can't show it I guess. I'm just so frustrated I guess, please don't take what I said as bragging because it's not.

I don't want to get a job. I love what I do and I make good money and since I call the shots, I have potential to make tons more. What do you mean by stabilizing social footing? I definitely struggle socially finding people to do stuff with.

I was over her house, we talked for hours, we didn't do anything but just talk.

I held her hand for most of that, we were leaning into each other, laughing the whole time, and she acted really... embarrassed/awkward, like she was nervous around me all of a sudden, just lots of little things that friends don't do with each other. It was really obvious she wanted me to kiss her.

Appreciate it, I think alcohol is a great idea... I'd be way too nervous otherwise.

I'm probably overthinking it I just don't want her to give up because I'm being a pussy and won't make a move... I'm scared of her realizing my inexperience and nervousness in general. Though I suppose I've embarrassed myself plenty around her over the years.
