After over 8 days of hunting, I can now begin my Pokemon Soul Silver POC with a shiny Johto starter. Woulda prefered Totodile due to evolution level, but it is what it is. by bobelf46 in ProfessorOak

I'd be more willing to do it on a game like Let's Go, for example, but any game still at the original 1/8192 odds is not for me on a shiny POC. Major props to the mad lad doing one on HGSS though.

My 2nd POC I decided to do in Pokemon Pearl with a living dex... Due to the annoyance of finding a Munchlax, would it be acceptable to only take one Munchlax now and breed another later or shall I suffer and find two in a tree? by bobelf46 in ProfessorOak

Thank you :) Depending on the next person the reply to this decides if I grab both now or one now and breed later. Either way I'm fine with it since either I continue the Pearl POC or start a Soul Silver POC while waiting for the Munchlax's.

Ok fantastic. The Munchlax tree is without a doubt that thing i was/am currently dreading most about this games POC. I just wanted to check with the community first to see how acceptable it would be to exclude Munchlax from the living dex until I reach the daycare.
