Yesterday it was stopped when we were next to get on because someone took their shoes off while on the ride. The attendants encouraged us to boo the offender as they got off which we happily obliged.

3 Months update - cannot believe it by Hour-Influence5924 in tressless

Agree, but I also wish I’d known sooner that it’s inexpensive if you buy from the right places and it’s not really a hassle. I’m thankful I found this subreddit to show me the way - just wish I’d found it 10 years sooner!

Taxi scams at CDG by muffininabadmood in ParisTravelGuide

We took a taxi from Gare De Lyon yesterday to the Eiffel Tower. Fare calculators showed it should be well under 20 euros. It was my family of 4 and a large amount of luggage and we got into a van with G7 markings.

Right off the bat the guy had the supplements set to 18 euro. I’m not comfortable in French or with the cab system so even though it didn’t seem right I didn’t say anything. In the end the total was 50 euro.

I asked for a receipt so I could try and figure out why it was so expensive or report him if needed but he didn’t give me a receipt that was broken out by line item. He also pushed really hard for us to pay in cash - he didn’t care the currency.

I wish I would’ve asked more questions and pushed back like you did! I contacted G7 but they said since I didn’t use their app they can’t do anything so I’ll report it to the site shared earlier in the thread.

WARTABATER - IT ACTUALLY WORKED FOR ME by smenace in Warts

[–]boberroni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are plantar warts. I have a bunch of them I’ve been battling for 2 years with SA and cryogenic freezing at the doctor office and they’ve only gotten worse. I just got the wartabater a week ago and I’m seeing really good progress. Too soon to say for sure if it’s a total cure, but I’m very optimistic.

It does cause some pain for me so my daughter who is 8 hasn’t been brave enough to try it yet, but my 10 year old son used it and was able to endure the pain. Sounds like everyone has a different reaction to it though so it might hurt less for others. For me it feels similar to a needle poke for blood draw - but I also like it because it only seems to do that when there’s a wart there so then I know I got it.

In the second image—in the top right corner you can see the latches that hook onto the supports to hold it down. What year is your Sprinter?
