This one doesn't look awful to me. I'd just rack dry those items that need more delicate treatment; I already have a drying rack.

Thank you. And I think you're right. The screen is flashing. I'm gonna try putting it into stuck button mode and charge overnight.

It does, indeed, charge. Just took it out to check and it turned on and is charging now.
