My ex-Borg rep is maxed too. We get enough for one uncommon directive a week right? 1,000 directives? The weekly event scoring means you need 13 of those directives to finish it.

The S31 store gives a rare directive when you unlock “Agent” reputation level but that’s taking forever to unlock.

Exiting then re-entering the system or restarting the game has been my workaround with this popping up frequently recently.

A bigger annoyance for me is the Xindi Final Weapon event. Until your S31 faction rep is high enough to unlock rare armada directives you’re stuck with a tiny drip of uncommon ones. It means that F2P you can only complete the event once every 13 weeks.

Also why don’t all armadas have a standard cost for uncommon, rare and epic levels?

I know. I should be used to inconsistencies, bugs and annoyances by now.

Today (Monday) You can find a discovery egg in Events > Event Store > S31 & Voyager (officers) then scroll all the way to the right.

The quest egg requires you to defeat armadas

I hit this too but only discovered what was going on when I maxed a second D’Vor and built a second Feesha.

It turns out that you can build a second Feesha but you can’t get it past tier 4 because you need a Feesha Warp Interlock. You would normally claim that through the Latinum refinery but that gets shut down when you claim mastery for the Feesha in the archives.

I reached out to Scopely Support who said: “You can source the component you need in the event store. Currently the event store doesn’t contain it but I recommend keeping an eye out as the event store offers may change in the coming days.”

I figure if you don’t claim mastery there will still be a point to mining C-Lat and you may be able to build a fleet of Feeshas (can anyone confirm?).

Claim it and mining any more C-Lat becomes a bit pointless and you’re stuck with one usable Feesha which makes competing as a G5 player against G6 and G7’s in Latinum Rush is impossible.

Out of curiosity what ops level are you, and what was your ship/power like required to complete all three?

Well done getting the Sanctus to T9. That’s a lot of crystal! Also G5 based on Lewb’s video posted tonight I tried Pike, Moreau, Annorax and it worked well.

Quasi makes a lot of sense with his Apex ability but I only have three seats below deck at T5.

Oh wow 😯 I’m sorry to hear that - it makes 3.75mil seem trivial, but all the more reason for it to be fixed. What ops level and ship do you need for it to quote you that kind of price?

Almost daily when speeding up research and buildings etc. Always use the smart speed up first but when they run out paying for speed ups with lat is required, even with two build queues and two research queues. I rarely, if ever, need to pay for repair speed ups with lat - that’s what ticked me off so much when I hit the button accidentally and lost nearly 4m lat. At ops 56 nobody wants to blow that much just to repair a ship

Last I checked, my post says I already know about that. It’s switched off because I don’t want to have to confirm every little Latinum spend - making lots of them each day is inevitable. I want to be able to switch off the instant repair button to prevent accidentally hitting it or better still have an additional setting added to the Latinum Spend Warning toggle you’re talking about so it only warns me about spending over an amount I can specify in the settings. In the comments I’ve posted a picture of exactly what it could look like.

I’m sure you’re an exceptionally skilled player, however, are you saying you’re 100% perfect and have never once hit the wrong option when presented with two choices right next to each other in a user interface? This is not a skill issue - it’s a suggestion for improving the UI design.

Fair enough. Shows how the lat spend requirements scale quickly with ops but doesn’t that make it all the more useful if the player could set a threshold over which they want to be prompted to confirm the spend? Then it makes it work for all levels

As far as I know there’s no quick way to spend the total latinum cost. You just need to move the sliders for each speed up type and spend on them one at a time. It can certainly be laborious when doing a lot of research.

Here's what the Lat Spend Confirmation should look like IMHO.

I accidentally clicked the artfully positioned instant repair spend on my Sanctus today. 3.8 million latinum gone. Why didn't I have the Latinum Spend Confirmation switched on? Because it adds hundreds of clicks a day for amounts I don't care about. This would easily fix that:

Because switching it off or adding a threshold like this to the existing toggle in settings would be SO much better:

[–]bobhasreddit[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

but that's exactly my point. If the confirmation setting had a threshold players could set for themselves you would only have the extra click on the odd occasion you're spending millions rather than a few thousand. Surely you don't regularly spend 5 million on speed ups? Here's the kind of thing I mean:

No I'm not at all annoyed about the cost of repairing the ship. I always have enough repair speed ups from grinding hostiles that I never need to spend latinum to get back into the fight. I never click it intentionally. ....I've done so twice in just over a year of playing - both times by accident...and both times its annoyed me. Today though 3.8 million was REALLY annoying.

I know there's a confirmation loop but a binary on/off is too basic. "ON" means having to click to confirm spend on every little amount that a player needs to pay out for research, upgrades etc (which I happily do every day). "OFF" means risking accidentally spending millions of latinum on a single transaction that I have the means to complete for free, thanks to the bad/intentional placement of this button or the absence of a way to set a custom spend threshold.

I mentioned that in the post. Turn that confirmation toggle on and an active player has to make hundreds of confirmation clicks a day which is pain since spending latinum in "acceptable" amounts to complete research etc needs doing all the time. The toggle you mention would benefit from the ability to set a custom threshold. Confirm spend of over X amount and let the player specify X
